Back when I first started looking into ways to make money online, I came across paid blogging. I signed up for a few different sites like Smorty, Blogitive, PayPerPost, ReviewMe and Blogsvertise. When I was on bed rest with my youngest son, I had 2 - 3 tasks per week with Smorty. Made a little bit of pocket change and kept me occupied. It worked out pretty good until the tasks dried up. Same with Blogsvertise. That was 3 years ago and I haven't really done much paid blogging since then. Maybe because I took a blogging break. I don't know, but a few weeks ago I was assigned a task from Blogsvertise, so I jumped on it. Since then I've gotten almost a dozen tasks. A couple I've turned down because they didn't seem relevant to the assigned blog. The tasks I did accept paid $10 - $20 each. It takes me about a half hour to complete a task, so pretty easy way to earn a little extra diaper money. For the tasks I've been assigned, the advertiser provides information on what they expect from your blog post. You then go check out the advertisers website and get a few ideas about what to write. You can either write a review about the advertisers site or write a post related to whatever the advertisers site is about.
I've had my blogs up and running for about 3 years. I've only posted a few times in the past year, but haven't entirely neglected them, so that has probably helped me receive new tasks, especially now that they have been around a while. Back then I was also a little cautious because paid blogging was fairly new and it was hard to tell how long these paid blogging sites would still be around. Three years later though and they are still up and running.
If you are looking to make money online, paid blogging is a great way to get started.

Payment received from PsTraffic and reupgraded.
Also received another payment from Blogitive.
Bad news. One of the longer running autosurfs, Surf7Daily, is closing.
Good news. Sister site 17SurfPro is remaining open.
Here's the full scoop.

Blogging payments
Nothing new other than received a couple payments from Blogitive, which seems to be working out pretty well. Payments are weekly into PayPal. Nice.
Need to look into Blogsvertise though. I did one offer which was approved, but haven't received any other offers. Not sure why. I do need to add a profile pic. Maybe that has something to do with it.

Blogitive, 17SurfPro
Another payment received from Blogitive.
The latest from 17SurfPro:
Hi Everyone!
It's now 5 months since I acquired 17SurfPro and despite a few small bugs during the past week or so, I am pleased to report that everything is going well. The 'bugs' resulting from a recent security upgrade have been fixed and we should be back to normal service today with payments for expired upgrades being made within 24-36 hours, usually sooner during weekdays.
Please check your accounts and if you think you have any payments outstanding for expired upgrades made before (and including) 23 April let me know.
When I acquired 17SurfPro I said that I would let the program settle down before making any changes and currently I see no reasons to make any further changes apart from those already made (the addition of AlertPay, for example) and the following two modifications which have made today:
The maximum number of upgrade units is increased to 300 ($3,000). This is the result of requests from a few members who have reached the maximum.
The account inactivity period is reduced from 30 days to 17 days. This means that free members who do not login for 17 days have their accounts deleted. This will help keep the database free of redundant accounts.
Thanks for your continued support!
Best regards
Bob Peters

Received a very fast payment from PsTraffic and reupgraded.
My blog was approved at Blogsvertise. Received my first task, my last post, and am waiting on my post's approval. No tax info is required here to get paid, just a paypal account.
Am waiting for payment to clear at the other paid to blog site I am in, Blogitive. So far, paid blogging seems to be a pretty lucrative way to earn some extra money online.

17SurfPro, Swift-Hits, Blogitive
Received payment from 17SurfPro and reupgraded.
I'm now in pursuit of a new site to join. Stay tuned.
The maximum number of sites you can surf at Swift-Hits.net has been increased to 200.
Also received an email from PayPal that payment for 2 posts I did at Blogitive is on it's way. Not a bad site. They don't seem to have tons of offers though. So far it seems 2 per week is the average. They also require 2 posts in between each Blogitive post. Each of those posts needs at least 50 words and each blogitive post requires at least 100 words. Basically, they give you an advertisement and you put it into your own words. Really easy. They pay once a week. The posts I've done so far were $5 each. I don't know if any pay higher, or lower. Not a bad deal though.

Blogitive
Woohoo! My first 2 blog posts at Blogitive have been approved. Now, I'm just waiting on payment to hit my PayPal account.
My son is sick with a high fever, so I'm making this short.

Invest4Freedom, Blogitive
Invest4Freedom.net is an autosurf which tightly controls the maximum upgrade amount based on the number of members. There are currently more than 300 members, so the maximum upgrade has been bumped up to $40.
Yaaaay! My blog has been accepted at Blogitive!
Blogitive pays you to post about topics. Payments are made weekly to your PayPal account. No tax information is required either. So if you see blog posts, not about autosurfing or other topics I usually cover, it's probably a post for Blogitive.
