So it's almost summer. Thank goodness. It's been a long winter here in the northeast, even though it started late. Summer is a good time to take a vacation. One popular place to go is Orlando, Florida. I've never been, but it sounds like a great place to go. Summer may not be the best time if you don't like the heat, but fall or winter sounds perfect. Orlando has 52 theme parks and beaches within a 40 minute drive. There are great deals on Orlando vacation rentals, which cost far less than other popular vacation spots.
Disney World is the biggest attraction in Orlando, but there are also more top rated golf courses than anywhere else in Florida. Orlando is also home to the second largest convention center in the world. I think my boss has been there several times for meetings. He said it's impressive. Just about all recreation activities in Orlando are family friendly.
Orlando is also continuously changing. All of the theme parks are constantly adding new rides and attractions, due to the stiff competition between them all. Even if you have been to Orlando before, it might be worth a trip back as there is always something new to see or do. The kids will love it.
