EzSurf-N-Earn is closing and restarting. Here's the update:

Let me first thank each and every one of you for the fantastic support you have given us. You do not know what that means to us.

The results of the poll were a bit lop sided. We put some suggestions on the poll and all of you responded with even more suggestions. After speaking with several members and getting some live input from them we have come to a conclusion.

As the site is now it cannot survive. As of today signups and upgrades will be disabled. You may continue to surf out your term and we will continue to pay as we get funds back in on this site.

I know all of you are waiting for the "other shoe to drop" so here it is.

After combining all the option not only in the poll but from member suggestions we can to the only thing we could.

The site is setup as follows.

8% for 17 days

Autosurf Bar (user must click after 10 sites anti-cheat)

$5 min 3,000 max

Only two active purchases at a time.

50/50 on all purchases of 1,000 and up (not on your Cashout but on the upgrade.).

1% referral commission.

Request commission once per week. (upgrade must be no less then 50% of your requested commission or it will not be honored.)

5% cashout fee. (Cashout fees will be used to fund the payouts on the original site)

Blossom Tree raffle system.(50% goes to the winner and 50% to old pending’s)

Virtual Clix advertising system. (profit from this will also go to funding pending payouts on the original site)

Now for the cool part, those purchases made from Tuesday until today have the option to have them moved to the new site. Cashouts on the original site will continue to be made until all members are paid out.

We apologize for not communicating but we have been busy with our scripter to get this site ready.

All of you knew we had a few issues with the script on the site to begin with. This decision was made in part to get a new script and fix all of the issues. Stacy and I have been doing the calculations, and conclude we have paid out nearly 40k over what people should have earned due to the fact that expired upgrades never went to pending. That my friends is a lot of money.

On a special note.

You do NOT have to signup to the new site to get paid. We will not force this on you. Some members who were in profit have volunteered to give up one or more pending cashouts. Almost done Christmas shopping. Amazon is the best. No tax, free shipping & most of the prices are lower than in the stores. I think my last purchase for my son is a Geotrax train set. Looks pretty cool. Anyone have it?
I'm thinking of getting a prepaid cell phone for my mother. Anyone have any useful info on brands or phone models? So far I'm leaning towards Net10. The minutes are cheap, .10 per minute and the salesman at Kmart said feedback on Net10 has been good. Only thing is you have to buy a new card every 60 days. Not sure I want to give a gift which will cost the recipient money, but between Christmas, Mother's Day & her birthday I'll always have one gift idea. We are in an area where service isn't available for all brands such as T-Mobile. I like their gold rewards program, so too bad they are not an option.

I received a very nice welcome email from TrickleDownCash. Admins don't usually do that. Guess that might be why TrickleDownCash has been in operation for over a year.

Added a new surf site to my list: TrickleDownCash. 2%, 75 days, autosurf 40 sites. Payouts are the 1st of each month, $15 minimum to cash out. Upgrades are $1, new accounts receive a free upgrade. I've kept an eye on this site for a very long time. I didn't like the $15 minimum to cash out, but since the sight is still here & still paying, I decided to join. Paying autosurf sites which have been around a long time are very rare and the new autosurf sites popping up need to prove themselves before I will join. This one should be a good pick.

Another good paying site with longevity is XLO. Today is it's 1 year anniversary. Very rare for surf sites. Payouts here can be done daily & are instantaneous. It is also 2% for 75 days, autosurf 7 sites, upgrades are $5. You also get a free $5 when you join & upgrade. Netzen has a post of an interview with the admin, Andy.

SiteSeer will be changing terms after the new year. Payouts will be on the 5th and 20th. You will be paid whatever is in your account balance. You will only be required to surf 15 sites rather than 25 and the timer has been changed to 15 seconds. Percentages paid will also change to 3% with ad packs lasting 45 days. This drops the ROI from 1.67 to .78. These changes supposedly are for the longevity of the site. Changing terms such as this usually indicates a cash flow problem. I'll probably stick with it for a little bit longer and see what happens as admins are good.

So Christmas is fast approaching. I have a 2 year old son & discovered it is much easier to do my shopping online. I like Amazon since you can get free shipping if you spend over $25. You can usually get cash back if you shop at various sites too. Last year I used Ebates and it worked out well, so I used it again this year for shopping at Sears, Personalization Mall, & Dr. Leonards. They have a huge list of stores, over 800, & Tuesdays are double cash back on selected stores. All you do is signup, login, get the list of all stores and select the store you want to visit. You are assigned a tracking number & if you make a purchase, ebates pays you a percentage of your purchase. Some of the percentages are quite high. It worked out really well last year, so you might want to try it. Ebates is also free and you get a free $5 bonus for signing up.

2 sites with bad news for autosurfing. 12by12Daily has had hackers messing with the script so that links in the members area didn't work. Phony upgrades have also been made. Dave will be issuing an update tomorrow.

EzSurf-N-Earn is having problems making egold payments. AlertPay & SolidTrustPay payments are still on time. A poll is set up in the forum for members to voice their opinion on how to help the situation.These guys have a lot going on now with the dimension sites & their original sites. Let's hope they get things straightened out.

Hmmm, I don't remember seeing that in any of the email updates. It's possible I missed it though. Oh well, I'll add this one to the list of possible sites to upgrade in.

For anyone in Profound Hits, who hasn't looked at the PTC section lately, you should take a look. Lately, Robert has had some high value ads. He's had 1 10 cent one and now he has a bunch of 5 cent, 2 cent and 1 cent ads. It's a good way to earn a little extra. Downside is Robert is behind in payments, so it will be a while before you are paid.

Link Market, XLO, CashSurfin'

If you are interested in having other people link to your site or blog, then check out this site. You sign up & enter your website directory information. There is a directory of sites you can request to link to. You also receive requests from other sites who want to link to your site. I just signed up yesterday & have received 13 requests so far. One thing to note, you will probably get requests from other sites who have nothing to do with your site topic. I allowed all the requests I received, just to get my site link out on the web. You never know who might click on it.

XLO server upgrades are now completed and are ready to handle further growth. They are heading into the second year of operation. If you are not in XLO you are missing a good opportunity to make some extra money. The admin is honest & payments here are very fast. Payment will hit your egold account almost immediately after you hit the request button.

CashSurfin' should be back online soon. This is another good site. On signup you receive $10 free & can compound it. Free members need to have a balance of $25 in order to cash out.

Today is Day3 of the 12 Days of Christmas internet marketing products giveaway. There's really some good stuff being given away for FREE. Alot of good reading material for my winter project of making money on the internet.

Received a shocking email from DanishAmericanSurf. The site opened, closed after having problems & restarted, then suddenly decided to become a traffic exchange only, no autosurf. No mention made of payouts. The email I received yesterday, stated the admin will start making payouts for all money owed from the first & second sites. Not just doing refunds or paying people not in profit, but paying everyone, everything owed to them. First you will receive a partial payment and after you post you've received it, you will get the rest of your payment. I do believe the admin will do as she says, as her honesty was why I joined the site in the first place.

12by12Daily raised the maximum upgrade a few days back. Many people saw this as a red flag & pulled out, putting the site in trouble. Note, the site was not in trouble before this occurred. Raising the maximum upgrade was not a red flag. Well, now that the site is in trouble, Dave is implementing the 50/50 rule. What this means is you now have to have an active upgrade which is 50% of your payout. I don't mind this rule, if I know the site has an honest admin & it will help the site hang on a bit longer. If you do sign up for these free giveaways, don't use your primary email address, as you will now be on tons of email addresses & get tons of spam. I think part of the reason for all these free giveaways is to help grow email lists and build downlines. Some of the information is helpful though, so it's worth a shot and everything is free.

Cashouts for 1st Dimension Ads happen tomorrow. Actually, being in all 4 dimension sites isn't so bad now that the initial round is over. Since it takes a week to get paid, you really only need to surf 60 sites a day, not the 80 required in the first round. You also get paid every week, so that's nice.

I have a war file which contains thumbnail images & the fullsize images for 3 different sets of data. Before I added the third data set, the war file was manageable as far as emailing goes. Adding the image files for the third set, makes the war file ~27 mb. The image files are gifs. Anyone have ideas as to how to make the war file smaller? Am I even going about it the right way by storing both thumbnail & fullsize versions? I've tried just storing thumbnails & using scaling when I need a fullsize version, but there's just too much distortion. Just storing fullsize images & scaling to get the thumbnails doesn't work right either. Some of the scaled thumbnails seem like they load too fast & a line ends up being a square. The gif's were created from jpeg's. Anyone know of a converter that has a high level of compression with very little distortion? I currently use Irfan View. The third data set started out as svg, which I converted to jpeg using batik.

So far it seems time consuming. There's a ton of information out there. It's just a matter of picking through & finding the good stuff. Hopefully the 12 days of christmas has some good stuff. So the CNET classes are going well. Learned of a couple tools to help with finding keywords for your websites. One is at http://www.nichebotclassic.com. Enter keywords & check out the KEI value. The higher, the better. WebCeo, a free tool, also sounds promising. I still have to download it though. For making sure the sites you download from are safe, try McAfee Site Advisor.

Mrsvee has exposed Bob, the admin of 15HitsDaily, TreoSurf as having gone bankrupt. Not a big deal in general, but shows a person may not be good with money. Probably not a good quality for an admin. Apparently Bob is pretty upset with Mrsvee & has said things a responsible admin should not be saying. I'm not in his sites & don't plan on joining.

EzSurf-N-Earn marks it's 5th month anniversary today. Special anniversary plans are in the works. They are also holding a conference call tomorrow. If anyone is interested in getting in on it, post a comment & I'll send the info.

Anyone catch General Hospital today? Anniversary of Stone's death today. Showed a few flashbacks that were nice to see. Stone is one of my favorite GH characters. His story was a landmark AIDS storyline for soaps.

Spent the day getting php, apache & phpmyadmin working with mysql. Pain in the butt, but finally got it going. Pretty cool stuff, but I'm having a problem importing a csv file into a table. It's a foreign key error and so far I haven't found any information on how to fix it. I found a work around, for the moment.

The General Hospital Luke & Laura specials were great! 4 hours of old shows from the early 80's. Brings back lots of memories. There seems to be a bit of a commotion in the forums & blogs about Dave raising the maximum upgrade at 12by12Daily. Vincent Teoh, the guy who wrote The Referral Magnet & who supposedly does the best DD, sees the maximum upgrade being raised as a red flag. I completely disagree. Dave has responded saying the site is not having problems. Dave is the best, most honest admin. If there were problems, he would be upfront about it. Don't hesitate to signup or reupgrade at 12by12Daily.

12 days of Christmas

Saw an interesting post on this blog. Apparently top marketing guru Mark Hendricks has gathered products of his & of various top internet marketers he knows to give away for free as part of a 12 days of Christmas package. Starting December 1st, there will be tons of software, internet marketing tips & tricks, etc to download. It looks like a really good opportunity to learn some new internet marketing techniques. I'm interested as that's what I've been looking into lately. I don't have extra money to buy books, etc, so I'm looking for free advice. The 12 days of Christmas is just what I've been looking for. MVPSurf, GlobalWaveTraffic closing

Bad news for 2 sites today: MVPSurf and GlobalWaveTraffic are both closing, due to hackers. GlobalWaveTraffic has lost at least $2400 in upgrades going to a hackers egold account. Both sites will be issuing refunds.

At the moment, the Dimension sites all appear to be down.

Hackers neeed to get a life.
