I think it’s great there are shows on TV nowadays besides Sesame Street that are dedicated to teaching our children lessons and numbers and things like that because I can’t always be on top of them all the time and I don’t worry about whether or not they’re not seeing the right stuff. Before I became a stay at home mom I was really worried that I would get bored but as it turns out I’ve been busier staying home with these kids than I ever was when I was part of the working world!

Here in upstate New York it finally feels like winter! I'm not really a big fan of winter, but the snow on the trees after a fresh snowfall is very pretty. We have been lucky so far. Up until a few days ago, we just had a dusting of snow once or twice. The temperatures have been very mild. A few weeks ago the temperature was even in the high 50's.
That all changed this week. Winter came roaring in with a few inches of snow and temperatures down to a low of about 9F. Although temperatures are supposed to slowly increase to a high of 42F on Saturday.
When I was younger I used to love going cross country skiing. I haven't been in at least eight years. My skis are now 24 years old, so I should really buy new ones if I ever decide to take up cross country skiing again.
Another winter sport I used to like is snowmobiling. I have an old Polaris XLT snowmobile. It is about 17 years old. Someday when the boys are older I may buy a new one. Registering and insuring a snowmobile costs about $100 per year. It's pretty expensive when you only ride once or twice.
I'm not really interested in any other sports. There is a very popular, small golf course up the road from where I live. My oldest son wants to learn how to golf, so maybe in a few years, we will give golfing a try. A lot of people I know love to golf. The boys father bought a golf video game that the boys enjoy playing. A Facebook member named Lanny Forrester enjoys playing golf. He would probably be able to give me a few golfing pointers.
The way this winter has been so mild this year, golfers were still golfing at the golf course up the road until mid November. I'm really hoping winter ends early too. I'm sure golfers would agree.

I am a fantasy football widow. I cannot even believe that I am living this life. My husband has always been a person who cannot drag himself away from a football game. But now he has joined this fantasy football league and has become totally obsessed with what seems like every football game imaginable each weekend on television. Back in February I was laid off from my programming job at a well known defense company, who shall remain nameless, that I had been employed with for over ten years. Yeah, real nice. With two small children, a mortgage and a significant other who doesn't contribute very much I wasn't too happy. The only good to come out of it, is that I was able to branch out and learn web development. I was strictly a desk top application C/C++/Java developer. I had touched a little bit on web development, but not much. If I hadn't been laid off, I would still be doing the same old thing. Even though I really miss the money, I'm glad for the opportunity to learn new things.
Luckily, a local web development company hired me part-time, so I've been able to learn PHP. One of these days, I have to get around to re-coding my magazine back issues website. It is strictly HTML and CSS. I want to rework it with PHP. I also want to add an admin piece. When I add new magazine back issues to the site, I manually edit the HTML file. With an admin piece, I can just go to the admin directory on the site itself, login and type in the new issue information into a nice form and voila, the issue is added to the website. Really cool!!! I can do it from any computer, and I don't even need to edit the source code.
There's a lot to learn in the field of web development as there are so many web programming languages, tools and tricks: PHP, HTML5, CSS, Ruby, Ajax, JavaScript, Java, MySQL, MongoDB, Joomla, WordPress, WebGL, Dart, Node.js, etc. It's a field you never get bored in, which is what I like.
In addition to learning the web programming languages to build a website, you need to know something about search engine optimization (SEO). You don't want to go through the hard work of building a website and end up not having any visitors. A web site should have a keyword that is optimized for. Items, such as paragraphs, titles, meta descriptions, headers should use the keyword.
Few people realize the backend coding of a website should also be written using search engine optimization in mind. Website code should be free of errors. Sometimes PHP code will throw an error and the page will either stop loading leaving you with empty space, or it will continue loading, but display an ugly error box. If an error occurs, there are no keywords for a search engine to process, sections or the rest of the page may just be skipped. No keywords means no SEO, no search engine ranking, no visitors and no revenue.
You also have to watch out for spelling errors. Typos are pretty common, but can be costly in terms of SEO. Missing end tags on page sections can also cause problems for search engines.

I love how just about anything can be baked into a pie and it's delicious. I don't think that it's hard to believe that, so of course Halloween candy is another great option to put into pies to make them even better. As soon as they start putting it out in stores, I like to make sure that I grab a few bags of candy here or there so that I'll have enough candy to include in all of my baking and not just to give out to trick or treaters.

I mean, I guess that you could just buy a whole lot of bags of candy at a time to make sure that you have enough, but I'm not really in the habit of doing that. I'm continually finding new recipes for desserts with candy online with my wireless internet providers Corvallis that I discover I don't have the proper candy to prepare. So I guess that's my excuse in regards to that.

But my favorite dessert may be my butterfinger pie because it's my favorite candy bar.

You also need to strive to make sure you and your business have a good reputation. Nobody is going to buy a product from a company with bad reviews. In this day and age of the internet, Twitter and Facebook it's not hard to find reviews on a company or information on the person/people running a company. If you have bad reviews or negative information floating around about you in cyberspace, you could lose customers.

I've mentioned Blogsvertise before, but feel the need to mention it again. I've been getting quite a few tasks the past 6 months, about 4 - 5 per month. If you've never tried paid blogging, that doesn't sound like a lot though. Paid blogging is easy, but it's hard to get tasks. Signing up at a paid blogging site doesn't mean you are suddenly going to make tons of money blogging. You have to have a good, established blog with regular, recent posts. I have 6 blogs, 1 which I have totally neglected and will get to someday. The 5 I do keep up with, I try to post on each one at least once per week. Sometimes it's more like once every couple months, but they are blogs I've had for a while. This blog was started 5 years ago. The most recent blog, my healthy living naturally blog, was started over a year ago. Life and work make it hard to fit in blogging, but if you start a blog and make an effort to keep it active, over time, it will pay off.
My soap opera blog is my best performer. That one and my recipes blog are the ones I have the easiest time figuring out what to write. I also really enjoy soap operas for some unknown reason.
My tech-tips blog also does well. I have one post that get almost 1000 hits per month. It was a useful tip that helped me out and has been helping out lots of others.

A few tips if you want to blog and/or make money blogging:

1. Post regularly - content is key
2. Write about something you enjoy, even if you think no one would be interested. Someone out there somewhere probably also enjoys it.
3. "How to posts" are a good bet.
4. Get post ideas from magazines, what's trending on Twitter or Google searches, your daily life, etc.
5. Sign up with Blogsvertise and whatever paid blogging service you can find. Although, I've joined all of the paid blogging sites I have found and Blogsvertise is the only one still giving me tasks. Smorty gave me quite a few when I first joined, but that was years ago. They don't really seem to be active anymore.
6. Add Google Adsense to your blog.
7. Sign up with Amazon.com's affiliate program
, LinkShare and CommissionJunction. I haven't had much luck with LinkShare.com or CommissionJunction, but I haven't put much effort into it either. I have had a few small payments from Amazon. There is also ClickBank, but I haven't done anything with them in a few years after they had a change of terms.
8. List your blog with with all of the major search engines, minor ones if you want to.
9. After you write a post, advertise it. Link to the post from your Twitter/Facebook/Google+ account. Use pingomatic, digg, delicious, etc.
10. Use the Google Keywords Tool to find keywords with low competition, but a lot of monthly searches.
BONUS. Be patient.

Making money from a blog takes a lot of time. I wish I had been more diligent about posting more frequently, but I am glad I have been able to post as much as I have over the years. The more I post, the more I see my effort paying off, so maybe by the time I am ready to retire I will be generating a full time income. That's my plan anyways. Although the way things are going this past year, I think I'm going to have to step that plan up.

I've decided that I don't want to ever get a meal plan again. I just hate the dining hall food. I got so sick of it last year, especially after I started eating off campus before and had some normal food again. So this year, I'm not getting a meal plan for college. Instead, I invested in a toaster oven because you can basically make almost anything that's a simple dish that you would make in an oven. Well, at least that's my theory so I'm trying to prove it with all kinds of really great recipes.

I like to look through a whole bunch of recipe blogs to come up with all kinds of dishes to try out in my toaster oven. While I was online looking up some of these recipes, I ran across a site about satellite internet packages. After I looked through I sent it to my mom and told her to Click Here to switch over her home internet service to it.

I've made all kinds of really great sandwiches, but I'm even more excited about making all kinds of dishes.

Laptops

Back in the spring of 2004, when I was pregnant with my youngest son, I bought my first laptop. It was a good thing I did because a few months later I ended up on bedrest. The laptop came in very handy. It was a Dell Inspiron E1405. A nice little portable laptop with a 14.5" screen. It came pre-installed with Windows Vista, not the greatest operating system. Applications tend to crash and it runs out of memory frequently, so a regular reboot is necessary. I didn't plan on buying another laptop for a long time, but about 6 months ago, I didn't have much choice. The screen on my laptop started not staying up. It was a gradual process. At first, it would stay up if it was in a certain position and then over time it wouldn't stay up at all. I had to prop the screen up to use it. That was ok, but I got tired of not being able to sit on the couch with it, so I sucked it up and bought a new laptop.
Laptops have really come a long way in the few short years since I last bought one. They have tons of hard drive space, lots of memory and fast processors. They are really on par with desktops. I'm pretty sure I'll never buy another desktop. I have my old laptop sitting on my desk with the screen propped up serving as a secondary desktop. It's working out pretty well.
There's a lot of different laptop brands out there. It's hard to choose from all the options. Various brands include dell, gateway, sony, hp, samsung, acer, and asus laptops. I ended up going with an HP for my new laptop. I've had it about 4 months. It's really nice, very slick. The operating system is Windows 7, which is a major improvement over Windows Vista. Needing to reboot is a rare occasion and makes me very happy as I tend to have a lot of stuff open at once and find it a pain to reboot and reload everything.
Mechanically, the screen hinging seems put together much better than my old dell. The only part that took a little getting used to was the mousepad. It is all touch, no buttons. The keyboard is really nice. The keys are kind of set down into the computer more than on my dell.
I really hope my new HP holds up better than my old Dell did.

A Trip to Aruba

My husband and I spend the evening looking for places to help us remodel the house when it gets a little warmer. We've been looking for painters and looked at service from www.HomeProImprovement.com. We have been talking about all the changes we want to go through with on this old house. I think it is waaaaay overdue. After talking about the house for a while, I suggested to my husband that we finally take a vacation. We both have all this vacation time and money saved up, and it's about time that we do something for fun instead of juts worrying about necessities!

Ever since I mentioned that idea to my husband, he's really been on board..maybe even moreso than I am. We've been looking at a whole bunch of places and I think we want to visit Aruba most of all. We've been to many places, but Aruba hasn't been one of them. I think would be a great getaway, right?

Regis and Kelly Live is my favorite talk show. They are great together and always have awesome guests. Recently they had Josh Groban on. He is such a amazing singer.

Regis is so funny. He somehow tends to keep set on edge throughout the whole show. My mom loves him too. We even went to see him when he was in Pigeon Forge, TN, for the grand opening of the Titanic Museum. He was just as funny in person. His jokes were fresh and relevant to the town we were in.

Kelly's stories of her children are always so funny. She seems to have a great life. It is like she understands how complicated being a mom can be. She is a beautiful woman who inspires me to do better for myself.

Even on days when she is hosting the show without Regis, she can hold ! it together. I like the way she interacts with the audience and callers on the phone.

I can't wait to watch Regis and Kelly everyday on my satellite tv from CableTelevision.net. It is the highlight of my day. It is my Me Time. I will be looking for it tomorrow as soon as I get up.

Back when I first started this blog, I looked into finding various ways to get traffic. One way is to join forums and become part of a group. One of the popular sites at the time was MyBlogLog. I joined and found it to be pretty cool and useful.
The part I liked the best about it was you could view your site stats. It told you what link readers came from, what pages they viewed and what links they clicked on. The free version only gave you the top 10 for each list. You had to upgrade to see the full list. The free version told me more about site visitors than any other stat site I found though.
BTW, if you can recommend a good stat site, which gives you all of that information in a clear, simple list, please let me know.
Lots of people I met when I used to autosurf were also on MyBlogLog. There were lots of active users on there. Found some pretty useful blogs at MyBlogLog.
Not really sure why I stopped using MyBlogLog. Probably lack of time, but I stopped around the time Yahoo took over just because it was a pain logging in. I couldn't just stay logged in and always go to my homepage when I typed in http://www.mybloglog.com. I would always get logged out automatically and then get redirected to sign in with my Yahoo account. Just an extra step that was annoying.
Unfortunately, Yahoo didn't do much with MyBlogLog once it became owner, and they have now decided to completely shut it down on May 24, 2011. Pretty sad because all of the bloggers and their info are still there. You can still get the great stat info on your sites. It's all still the same as when I first joined. It's a great site for bloggers to connect.
Luckily, BlogCatalog also feels that MyBlogLog is a great site with lots of untapped potential because they want to buy it and resurrect MyBlogLog. Unfortunately, Yahoo isn't really interested in selling. They just want to shut it down. As an email from BlogCatalog points out, Yahoo should just sell it to BlogCatalog and donate the money to those in need. Great idea! Japan would be a great place to start.
BlogCatalog and BloggersUnite.org have joined forces to save MyBlogLog and are asking bloggers to write a post explaining to Yahoo that selling MyBlogLog is a much better idea than just shutting it down.

MyLikes Get Paid to Use Twitter

In a previous post, I mentioned a couple of websites that pay you for your tweets on Twitter.
I have another one to add to the list: MyLikes. You sign up and choose categories that are of interest to you. You're then given a list based on these categories of things to like. You can then post a comment about the like on Twitter and Facebook. Each like pays you a certain amount per click with, for me, a maximum of .22 per click. The maximum you are started out with depends on your Twitter statistics. As you go along, that figure should increase. For me, MyLikes pays more than the other paid tweeting sites.
The payout rate is pretty low. You get paid when you reach $2.00.
If you have a good number of followers and choose likes that interest them, the amount adds up pretty quick. So far I've liked 3 links and made .62. Not much, but it's not bad since I only have about 80 Twitter followers, and I'm pretty sure not all 80 of them are actually going to read my tweets, especially if they follow tons of people. I know I don't, but I do like to read as many tweets as I can. Some people follow tons of people, but I just follow people who seem to have interesting or newsworthy things to say. I also don't like following someone who is constantly posting updates. I like to vary my stream.

How To Turn Blog Posts Into Facebook Status Updates

Now that I've got a fan page set up for each of my blogs, I did some more research on how I could use Facebook. I came across a pretty cool technique to import posts from my blog into Facebook as status updates.
Here's how you turn your blog posts into Facebook status updates:

1. Underneath your page's profile picture, click Edit Page.
2. Select Applications from the left hand column.
3. Click Go to Application under Notes.
4. Select Edit import settings from the left hand column.
5. Enter the url of your site's RSS feed. Ex: For this blog the RSS feed url is: http://ice-princess-extra-cash.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default?alt=rss. Select the check box and click Start Importing.
6. Click confirm and you're all set.

It's as simple as that!

I am simply amazed at how Facebook has caught on. I joined early on, but never did anything with it. Facebook was very restricting. You could only friend people who were in your school network; and you couldn't see other members if they weren't in your school network. About 3 years ago, I received a friend request from a cousin in Georgia. I was like what? lol. No more restrictions. Now you could friend whoever you wanted. Cool. After that I recieved a friend request from a longtime penpal, then former classmates and more relatives. Once I started going on daily, I started using it to keep up with the news by liking different pages.
Today it seems like everyone is on there and websites, stores are also setting up fan pages. I've mentioned before about my magazine back issues website. I just set up a Facebook fan page for it to help gain more traffic. I set up a link to the Facebook page on the front page of my magazine back issues website. No likes yet, but I've had a few visitors.
I'm also going to create pages for all of my blogs. You can automatically display new blog posts on the Facebook page which is nice.
Facebook fan pages are very easy to set up.
First you need to create a Facebook account, if you don't already have one. I already had one, but mine is for people I actually know in real life.
After your account is created, you should have a link on your profile page to create a page. If you don't see one, click here to create a Facebook page. Follow the steps: On the right, I selected Brand, product, or organization and chose Website in the dropdown box. Next, enter a name for your Facebook page. I used the name of my website/blog. Setup your page with info, a photo/logo and status updates; and your page will be ready for visitors.
Don't forget to set up a like box on your webpage, so people can find your Facebook fan page.
You can also set up an ad within Facebook, so that even more people will find you. I haven't done that yet, but at some point I may.
Facebook is great. The whole world in one location. Lots of opportunities to make money!

I've been doing some research on get paid to blog websites. Basically, I'm just looking for new get paid to blog sites to sign up with.
During the process, I stumbled across get paid to tweet websites. How cool! I'm on Twitter http://www.twitter.com/ice_princess_81. I use it mainly to drive traffic to my blogs when I post new updates. Get paid to tweet seems like another great way to use Twitter.
I've signed up with two sites so far. The first is run by Izea and is called SponsoredTweets. It's super easy. Sign up and you get a list of opportunities. Fill in your tweet, which will already contain the ad link, and then click a button. Once approved the tweet will go out. You are paid an x amount each time the link in the tweet is clicked. I hate getting paid based on having someone click a link, but so far I have gotten 3 clicks on one tweet. Pretty cool!
Magpie is another get paid to tweet site. It works pretty much the same as SponsoredTweets. I haven't had any tweet opportunities here yet. I did just join today though.
Get paid to tweet looks like a good, easy way to earn a little extra money online.

Using Twitter to Drive Traffic

Traffic. My big problem with making money blogging is getting traffic. At one time, this blog had a pretty decent following. Unfortunately, I didn't make blogging a priority, got bored and traffic levels dived. Now that I'm back into blogging I have to work on driving traffic levels up again. A slow, time consuming process.
Since I last attempted to make money blogging, Twitter has become very popular. I'm on it here. I drive traffic using Twitter by first, posting a new blog entry. Then, I use HootSuite to shorten the url to the new blog entry and post a new Twitter update with a blurb about the blog entry topic along with the shortened blog entry url. That's it. Pretty simple.
I use HootSuite because the status updater has a built in url shortener, and you can also add a comment when you retweet someone else's status.
Apparently, there are automated tools out there which will write your blog entry for you and then update your Twitter status. I haven't tried it and probably won't. I prefer to keep my blog posts real and write the entries myself.
You can also network yourself by following lists of users created by other users. You follow everyone on a given list, wait a few days and unfollow anyone who has not followed you back. Then find another list to follow and repeat the process. Be careful though. You don't want to be following a lot of people and not have many following you. That makes you look like you're not really worth following. I haven't tried that technique yet, but am going to give it a shot, so I'll keep you posted on how that Twitter traffic driving technique works out.

Back when I first started looking into ways to make money online, I came across paid blogging. I signed up for a few different sites like Smorty, Blogitive, PayPerPost, ReviewMe and Blogsvertise. When I was on bed rest with my youngest son, I had 2 - 3 tasks per week with Smorty. Made a little bit of pocket change and kept me occupied. It worked out pretty good until the tasks dried up. Same with Blogsvertise. That was 3 years ago and I haven't really done much paid blogging since then. Maybe because I took a blogging break. I don't know, but a few weeks ago I was assigned a task from Blogsvertise, so I jumped on it. Since then I've gotten almost a dozen tasks. A couple I've turned down because they didn't seem relevant to the assigned blog. The tasks I did accept paid $10 - $20 each. It takes me about a half hour to complete a task, so pretty easy way to earn a little extra diaper money. For the tasks I've been assigned, the advertiser provides information on what they expect from your blog post. You then go check out the advertisers website and get a few ideas about what to write. You can either write a review about the advertisers site or write a post related to whatever the advertisers site is about.
I've had my blogs up and running for about 3 years. I've only posted a few times in the past year, but haven't entirely neglected them, so that has probably helped me receive new tasks, especially now that they have been around a while. Back then I was also a little cautious because paid blogging was fairly new and it was hard to tell how long these paid blogging sites would still be around. Three years later though and they are still up and running.
If you are looking to make money online, paid blogging is a great way to get started.

My day job is on the fritz, again, so I'm getting back into blogging. Not that I ever really left, just was slacking off big time. I'm gonna put a little more time and effort into it and see what happens.
First step is I started a new blog: Ice Princess's Healthy Living Naturally. This one is all about living healthy the natural way. About a year ago, I discovered I was falling apart and had to make some major lifestyle changes meaning I have to make sure I eat healthy and exercise. I really don't want to be dependent on medication when I'm older. I would much rather eat healthy foods and exercise.
I also moved my magazine back issues website to its own domain at http://magazine-back-issues.biz. Just about every article I've ever read about how to make money online says you need to get your own domain. Well, my site was doing just fine with free hosting from 110mb.com. A few months back, I noticed my google adsense ads weren't showing up. I didn't look into it until a few weeks ago. Apparently, google has blocked all adsense from appearing on all websites with 110mb.com as part of the domain name. Google adsense is a big part of how I plan to make money online, so I immediately bought a domain name and found a new web hosting company. I signed up with iPage. So far so good. BTW, they are a green company who uses wind power. A plus now that I'm into all things green and natural. I was reading the 10/5/09 issue of Us Weekly and came across an interesting article with Nick Lachey. Apparently he is co-owner of a reverse auction website called Winnit.com. Users bid on high dollar items, such as ipods, computers, tvs, sports cars, vacations, etc. and the user with the lowest unique bid wins. The majority of items are selling for less than $2.00. Very cool! You sign up and automatically get $5.00 added to your account, so you can start bidding right away. Each time a bid is placed, a fee amount of $1 - $4 is deducted from your account balance. That kind of sucks, but I guess that's how the site makes money. After you place a bid, you can see right away whether your bid is the lowest unique bid for that item. If it is not the lowest unique bid, you are given a hint as to what the lowest unique bid amount is. You can also place a serial bid, which is a low and high bid. However, serial bids are charged an extra fee.
Each month, a portion of the proceeds are donated to charity. For September, the charity is Feeding America.
Winnit.com also has a referral program. You get $5.00 for every person you refer.

Wow, I can't believe it's been almost a year since I last posted here. I haven't abandoned my blog, just been busy with work, kids and my other sites.
I have autosurfed since 17SurfPro went down. I've looked into joining new sites every now and then, but nothing has struck my eye. They also seem to use payment processors other than e-gold, which is where I have a few spare cents.
I am still an upgraded member of ClixSense. I have received several payments over the past year and will be due for another one soon.
After 2 years I finally earned $100 for my first Google AdSense payment.
I finally signed up for LinkShare.comlast week. Lots of good affiliate programs to sign up for there.
Selling my magazine back issues has been going quite well and selling coupons on ebay helps pay for diapers.
I took alot of time off last year from making money online, so this year I'm going to try and focus on it more. Stay tuned.

and trying to get more traffic. That's a definite pain in the butt. The majority of my traffic comes from the search engines, mainly google. All of my blogs get visitors everyday, so that's good. I just need to increase the number of those visitors. The big key is SEO - search engine optimization. My new strategy is to write for the search engines and not so much for the readers, so pick a keyword and use that for the post title, anchor text and use it a bit more than you normally would in your post. Instead of saying it, say keyword. The hardest part is picking the right keyword to use. One free tool which is helpful is GTrends Tool from Wordtracker. You enter a keyword and the tool shows you the number of times that keyword is searched for in, I think, a 100 day period.If I'm wrong, please correct me.
GTrends also lists alternate keyword search terms. At the end of each search term is a graph. Click on the graph and you are taken to a page which shows the number of google competitors and the number of visitors the #1 site in google gets per day for that keyword. Pretty interesting. The key is to find a keyword with lots of searches, but little competition.
Other than that I'm still waiting on payment from 17SurfPro. That's the only autosurf I am in at the moment. Just haven't made time to look into joining any other sites.

I have spent some time over the weekend reviewing the payment situation on 17SurfPro and I am currently putting together a new plan aimed at paying everyone as soon as possible. This, of course, has always been my intention and remains so. I will be able to give details of this later in the week.

In the meantime, I have put in place a strict rule about how payments are being made:

Payments will be made in strict order, the oldest pending payment being made first.

This may not appear to be a significant change but in the past when members have asked me to make their payments early because of special circumstances I have usually done so. With the current backlog I am receiving a growing number of requests for members to jump the payment queue and this is making the process difficult to manage fairly - for example, who should I pay early and who should have to wait? It is also very unfair for those members who are waiting patiently for the their turn to be be paid. I am also receiving complaints that some members have been paid ahead of others who are waiting. The only fair solution is to pay everyone in turn, oldest pending payment first.

For those members who have reached the maximum upgrade level and who compound back to the maximum and receive the profit (I have been doing this to help reduce payment processor fees) I will continue to do this if requested, although the payment will be placed in the pending payments queue and paid in turn. Again, this seems to me to be the fairest way to manage this.

Members with money in ‘Other Cash’ can request a withdrawal using the procedure on the site. The payment will then join the queue and be paid in turn.

We are on a new, powerful server configuration, have strong anti-DDoS protection, 24/7 security monitoring and back office encryption measures. He is angry because he can't even get to the front door.

To stop him, here's how you can help us help you.

1) change your login password. This is always a good practice, so why not do it now.

2) if you have listed a credit card in your profile with a valid expiry date, contact your credit card company and ask them to monitor all future activity. You can even change your number if you wish. We have NOT heard of ANY issues....but it is better to be fore-warned and fore-armed! If the card you have listed shows an expired expiry date, you do not need to do anything, of course.

3) monitor your own account and immediately report any suspicious activity. Rest assured we are watching every transaction as well. Check any suspicious emails! We do NOT use gmail, hotmail or any other free account. SolidTrust emails will always originate from our domains or xplornet.com (our ISP).

We will be contacting VISA and MasterCard. We are required to report such activity.

We live in a criminal and unfortunate world. Those that work hard for the benefit of others often become the victims of attack. We fully expect this individual to lash at us again. We expect some members to be upset and angry. Do not be surprised to receive more phishing emails, or even emails containing personal information. Ignore them. All he can do is throw what little information he has around.

Our webhost has blocked all access to the site until the attack can be stopped. The attack is so huge that it has affected the Shaw cable main trunk line (an ISP provider serving all of Western Canada).

We are working around the clock with RackForce and Shaw Cable to bring this attack to an end. ALL member accounts are completely safe. We ask for your patience and understanding while we deal with this onslaught of hatred against us. All major companies come under such attacks....we have been fortunate in avoiding a DDOS thus far and this one will be severely dealt with.

It has always been my intention for 17SurfPro to be a long-term program, and that is still true today. Hope everyone had a nice holiday & new year. Am glad it's over and am ready to start a fresh year.
Finally reupgraded at 17SurfPro and received payment. I'm not sure how much I'm going to get back into autosurf's this year. I'll probably keep an eye on them and join if one strikes me, but I'm mainly just going to stick with 17SurfPro and try to focus on my other blogs more, especially my parenting blog now that I have a new baby, who is doing very well. The rest I post at more often. My blogs still show up in google search results though, so that's good. Guess being found is what's important.
I finished making a first pass of adding magazine back issues at my main site. My new son arrived this past Saturday. I woke up around 5:30 from a dream where my water had broken and discovered it really had broken. 9 hours later he was born just under 7 lbs. So far so good. He's a very cute little man. Am very relieved he came on his own and I didn't have to have an induction. Am also glad he made it to full term.
Am looking forward to having the next couple of months off from work. Hopefully I can concentrate on making some extra money as 6 weeks of my time off will be unpaid. Will be reupgrading at 17SurfPro as that seems to be the only autosurf worth putting money in at the moment.

Just a quick update. I have a week at the most left before #2 arrives. I am scheduled for an induction next Thursday due to the gestational diabetes I have. Monday I was 2cm dilated and 50% effaced, so I'm hoping he shows up before then. From what I've read, inductions are rough. Will just be glad to get him here safely.

There doesn't appear to be any autosurfs worth joining at the moment other than 17SurfPro which just turned 1 year old. A big accomplishment for an autosurf.

PSTraffic is closing until after the holidays when it will be restarting. They've also issued refunds, which I received.

So I got bored and updated my blog design. A while back blogger changed it's templates to make it easier to add and change elements. To do that, I would have lost most of the links on the right side, so I held off doing it since I haven't had the time. Still on bedrest, so had some extra time today. Have had contractions off & on all week & am at 36 weeks, so #2 should be here soon. The doctors aren't letting me go past my due date, which is 4 weeks from today, so I have at the most 4 more weeks.

Had some bleeding last week and was in the hospital for a few days. Now I'm on strict bedrest. Thank goodness for my laptop and the wiflyer. Had a test done on Monday called fetal fibronectin, which predicts if delivery will occur within 2 weeks. Came back negative, so when the test results expire, I'll be 35 weeks, which puts the baby in good shape if he ends up coming soon after that. I'm hoping he does, since I'm not so sure the gestational diabetes I have is doing him much good. Just keeping my fingers crossed.

Hello members,

Our e-gold account 3937008 has been blocked today for no apparent reason. We have contacted e-gold to unblock it, and we are still awaiting their reply. In the meantime we have opened a new e-gold account 4717289.

All our e-gold funds are currently in our blocked account and we await e-gold\'s response to this. As soon as the issue is resolved we will begin processing current pendings. We have decided not to transfer out our blocked e-gold otherwise we risk getting our new account blocked too and e-gold may then decide not to unblock our primary account.

We are also receiving A LOT of support emails about our members e-gold accounts also being blocked too and wanting to change their e-gold account details and sometimes we have to change the same member\'s e-gold account two or three times, because each time they open a new one it gets blocked. This has been happening since yesterday.

We have decided to process everyone\'s pendings together, so SolidTrustPay pendings will be processed together with e-gold when the issue is resolved.

Note that payouts are processed within 72 hours, so even if it takes a day or so to resolve, we will still be well within our payout terms.

I think I've mentioned before that all I can get in my area for an internet connection is dial up. Really sucks, but maybe someday there will be a faster option. Anyways, I've been using NetZero's 3g high speed for the past 2 years without much of a problem. Lately though, the high speed part has been very flaky. It keeps disconnecting and speeds have been slow. The other day I got fed up and came across a couple of different providers with good reviews. One is Toast.net. I haven't tried it yet though. The one I'm trying now is Copper.net High Speed. They have a really good deal going on right now, which is why I tried it first. It's $1 for 3 months, after which you can cancel if not satisfied. So far it's not bad. Netzero would always take a long time to load certain sites, such as blogs, including this one. Copper.net doesn't seem to have that problem. My blog actually loads pretty quick. The only drawback so far is Copper.net's high speed also seems to have a problem staying connected initially. Once it gets going though it is fine. So far connection speeds seem a bit faster than Netzero.
Regular price for the high speed version is $14.95 per month. Without high speed, it's $9.95 per month. The customer service number is also free. Unlike Netzero, which charges $2 per minute. Most numbers are V.92. You get a free 25mb email address. There seem to be a lot of access numbers, although just 2 for my area, but it's rural. Copper.net connects faster than Netzero, since it uses the built in dial-up networking in Windows. Netzero has it's own java application, which is much slower. Copper.net also lets you stay connected for a maximum of 4 hours, whereas Netzero disconnects you after 3 hours. If you're looking for a new dial up isp or a backup internet connection, you might want to check out Copper.net.
BTW, Copper's high speed is also compatible with the wiflyer.

I rediscovered a site I joined quite a while ago called Triple Your List. As the saying goes: the money is in the list. Well, this is a pretty cool site if you don't have a list. We have decided to make a few modifications to our TIB website. The new changes will reward our active and hard working members substantially more than in the past. Please take your time and go over these changes. They will be posted on the website as well.

1.) We will now base everything on a point system exclusively. You will get 1 point for reading an email and 3 points for each referral.

2.) On the 14th and 28th of each month, you will receive funds in your account based on how many emails you read (1 point) and how many people you refer (3 points). This is some good and some not so good news.!

As almost all of you are aware we hare having some serious script problems when it comes to cashing out. 99% of the time when a upgrade expires and a cashout is made it "DOES NOT" deduct it form the cash balance, when it should. Now i admit, that some, if not all is my fault, Not rollersoft. So after speaking to my Admins and my close friends who help me make swift-hits.net. We have decided on some choices.

1. Close swift forever-- ( NOT GONNA HAPPEN)

or

2. Stop all upgrades as of today , and wait till everyone is paid out and then close swift-hits for a few 1 or 2 ( maybe even open up on the same day) and start with a fresh database and script, So there will be no errors or anything like that. We will close as soon as the last payout is made!

You will have to re-sign backup with Swift-hits.net( since everyone will be free members) after we get it backup and tested. I will post it in the Autosurfcentralcafe forum, on the progress! It wont take long to get everything back up!

The reason i am having to do this is because some people have not told me that they have been paid to much, or have not told me about thier cash balance. Again, most of this is my fault due to when i opened Compounding up!. Which will NEVER happen again!

Looks like Nick at The Ultimate Surf is finally packing it in. Here's the update:

Good Morning All

Nothing has changed with TUS in terms of money getting returned. I have asked and asked but to no avail. I have to assume that I was under the false impression of 'real investing'. I will also assume that the money I 'invested' was 'invested' in ponzi schemes! You live and learn I guess! BIG shame really, because if I had known then what I know now, things could have possibly been different.

I am going to take TUS offline and save the database so I have a list of those members that did not get into profit. I have waited and waited and waited, no 'investments' are getting returned and I am now fed up with the whole situation. I can’t see the point in me continuing to plead for the money.

I have started trading on Betfair and also a small amount on igindex. There were some hiccups at the start, due to me not following my plan as I should, but that is now resolved. To start 80% (thereabouts) will be used on Betfair, and 20% on igindex. I have started a new program (NOT aurosurf), and if that goes well with the trading, some profits will be used to pay members who lost out in TUS. That is my aim at least!

Again, apologies for those that lost out. Hopefully the new program can go towards paying some members who never got anything back/didn’t profit. The main plan I am promoting with the new site is 'Plan 3' which is 100% real trading (Betfair and Igindex). There are other plans, but this is the low risk/low roi/variable roi option that I am particularly interested in building. The site has been announced by kingnothing at autosurfcentralcafe.com if people are curious, but I wont give the url out in an email!

The site accepts ALL processors for Plan 3. As long as I can get the money easily into Betfair/Igindex, I am fine with any processor. Obviously the site IS NOT an investment site. It is me trading, and if people want to get involved that is fine, but they must be aware that they are not investing/purchasing anything whatsoever!

I do aim to answer questions in some of the big forums, but my main aim when online is to trade profitable set ups.
